Mauricio De Simone is the CEO of Nitido (www.nitido.com), a thriving,
entrepreneurial software company that emerged from the explosive
growth period of the early Internet in the late nineties. He has lead
and developed Nitido from the concept stage to becoming a self funded,
leading software provider with multi-million dollar annual revenues.
Mauricio has served Nitido as both the chief executive and chief
architect of Nitido's products and technology. He has guided the
company's business strategy from initially providing technical
services, through the development of Nitido core products and finally
through the delivery of successful projects and products to the
world's largest telecom companies. Mauricio is fully involved in the
life of the company and encourages commitment and passion for the
Nitido vision within Nitido's staff.
Mauricio holds an Electrical Engineering degree from Simon Bolivar
University, Venezuela, and a M.A.Sc. from the University of Waterloo,
Canada.
